In June 2025, we joined the Chilean Chess Foundation to create the Ajedrez Mama Piru Chess Club  funded by that institution.

This completely free workshop is designed for children and youth up to 18 years old. Its purpose is to encourage learning by embracing multiple dimensions of human thought and society Its practice is associated with values that go far beyond a simple game: it promotes equality, inclusion, respect, and mutual support, fostering a collaborative environment and meaningful exchanges among different cultures and communities.

In addition, this sport strengthens cognitive skills such as anticipation, consequence analysis, problem solving, and long-term planning. It requires sustained focus, memory, logic, strategy, and decision-making—key elements for comprehensive academic development.

This initiative is part of a long tradition of workshops that enrich our educational work at Toki, integrating ancestral knowledge and local culture. Below are some of the workshops we have offered.
