In June 2025, we joined the Chilean Chess Foundation to create the Ajedrez Mama Piru Chess Club<\/b><\/a>\u00a0 funded by that institution.<\/p>\n

This completely free workshop is designed for children and youth up to 18 years old. Its purpose is to encourage learning by embracing multiple dimensions of human thought and society<\/b> Its practice is associated with values that go far beyond a simple game: it promotes equality, inclusion, respect, and mutual support, fostering a\ncollaborative environment and meaningful exchanges among different cultures and\ncommunities.<\/p>\n

In addition, this sport strengthens cognitive skills such as anticipation, consequence analysis, problem solving, and long-term planning.<\/b> It requires sustained focus,\nmemory, logic, strategy, and decision-making\u2014key elements for comprehensive\nacademic development.<\/p>\n

This initiative is part of a long tradition of workshops that enrich our educational work\nat Toki, integrating ancestral knowledge and local culture. Below are some of the\nworkshops we have offered.<\/p>\n
